The Cooperation Agreement in brief
The Cooperation Agreement between DA (the Confederation of Danish Employers) and LO (the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions) is an important tool in “the Danish model” in line with the DA-LO General agreement and other collective agreements governing wages and working conditions.
The Cooperation Agreement defines the framework for cooperation and dialogue between the employees and management in all the companies that are members of DA.
The Cooperation Agreement was first concluded in 1947 and has since been modernized on a continuous basis and, most recently, in the current agreement which dates back to 2006.
The Cooperation Agreement also contains the supplementary agreement on equal treatment and integration as well as the supplementary agreement on Telework.
The Cooperation Agreement implements the EU-regulation on information and consultation.
